what triggered you to go to cosmetology school?

My senior year of high school I took a fashion course. In this course we had to do a fashion show for our prom where we had to model the dresses. My tom boy-ish self didn’t really know how to do my hair and makeup! A crew of stylist came in the morning of to get us ready for the night. After seeing them set up and all dressed in black ready to work it made me think they were awesome and I was instantly interested what the hair world was about.

Go to target, decorate my house, play baseball (or anything) with my son, walking my dogs, reading and yoga.

what do you love about working at suite 115 salon?

I love our family. I love looking around and seeing our team laugh together and support each other. It is my salon so I am biased, but I love our products. I like that we offer a few different types of products and we carry a few different color lines. This is great so we have something for everyone.

why do you love what you do?

I love what I do because it’s not just about hair it about connecting with people. Challenging yourself to constantly learn new tools and multitasking your skills
