what triggered you to go to cosmetology school?
Growing up my mom was a hairdresser and several family members. I attended Elmhurst college for a couple of years and begged my parents weekly, even daily if I could go to Cosmetology school. Then begged my hairdresser for a job in the salon! I have always been drawn to the industry.

what do you like to do in your free time?
Being a Mom to a special needs child and a toddler doesn’t leave much time for “free time”. I choose to spend majority of my time with family. I love hosting family pool days in the summer. When I get a break I enjoy meeting up with friends which helps keep my identity as Corrine and not just “mom.”

what do you love about working at suite 115 salon?
I love the connections that I have built with each person outside of “work”. My co-workers have become some of my biggest support system through some difficult times. I love that each stylist makes everyone’s clients feel welcomed. I love that my clients feel comfortable enough with the people I work with to just strike up conversation with them and vice versa.
why do you love what you do?
I love making feel good about themselves, but I also love that each client is a different canvas to create different looks. I also love building relationships with my clients who tend to feel more like friends!
