about Carly
what triggered you to go to cosmetology school?
I’ve been around hair my whole life, my Mom owned a salon for over 20 years and my passion for doing hair sparked very young which I’m extremely lucky and proud to say! Something unique about me is that I haven’t chose this industry solely to just do hair. I know that may sound crazy, but let me explain! To me, there is so much more to being a hairstylist than styling actual hair, and don’t get me wrong, doing hair is amazing, thrilling, exciting, creative, fulfilling, and the list goes on. But to me, It’s also about the relationships, trust, loyalty, friendships, mentorship’s, and help that you give and receive to people and I think that alone, is extraordinary. I couldn’t be more in love with what I do!

how long have you been a hairdresser?
2 years and so grateful to be trained at Suite 115 Salon!
what do you like to do in your free time?
I love to bake! I’ve always been very creative and baking gives me opportunities to try different things! I also love to travel, shop, and spend time with family and friends! I’m a pretty flexible person so when it comes to family and friends time I’m open to anything fun!
what type of service do you love doing?
It’s hard to pick a favorite because I really love it all, but if I had to choose it would be detailed highlighting and balayage. Creating a look change fit for you is my passion! Getting creative with the process allows me to get to the perfect end result customized to your wants/needs! I am so excited to be adding hair extensions to my menu soon too! I truly just enjoy giving my clients confidence after their time with me!
what do you love about working at suite 115 salon?
The salon atmosphere here is truly amazing. Everyone is so kind, caring, and supportive of each other, and are always willing to help out when needed. I’ve already learned so much from every individual here and can’t wait to learn even more, I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else!
why do you love what you do?
I can go on and on about why I love what I do so I’m going to try and make this as quick as possible! All I’ve ever known and loved is hair. My mom was a hairstylist for most of her life and her passion for it spread right to me. When I was younger, I would beg for her to take me to her salon to help out and watch over what she would do, I was always so fascinated with the work that was put into the outcome and knew right away that’s what I wanted to do from such an early age. I don’t only love that aspect, but as well to make peoples lives a better place! My daily goal is to try and put a smile on at least one persons face and with doing that, my day is fulfilled!
